In the near future, on the day before the Paris Olympics, an enigmatic ecological extremist group called “The 999” declares war for the climate during a bloody attack. A journalist, her fixer*, and a police captain, with nothing in common, will team up in the farmlands of Brittany to investigate.

Their dark inquest will submerse them in the world of the NEVED, new semi-autonomous regions, where those who fled the Collapse and the Authoritarianism of the New French Republic live.
