DAHUD PROD, created in 2021 by director Vanessa Le Reste, strives to reinforce the role of show runner
DAHUD PROD develops and co-produces original series, from Brittany as well as internationally.
DAHUD PROD is based in the Santa Cruz of Brittany : Douarnenez, known also by its initials – DZ.
This fiefdom of the Penn Sardin, a blue collar village with a notable history of feminism, has reinvented itself, and is now a great breeding ground for creation, where many artists reside, including adherents of the counter-culture and surfing.
The Pôle Audiovisuel de Cornouailles is based in Douarnenez and serves as a creative hub for over a hundred creative professionals.
DAHUD PROD is a part of a production process that is both local and international. Proud of her Breton culture and her femininity, as the name indicates, DAHUD PROD hopes to bring attention to the female gaze, while respecting the concept of equity, a critical pillar of the 50/50 collective.
DAHUD PROD also has a division linked to the organization of activities in the world of board sports.

Writing and Production
Receiving her diploma at La Femis, Vanessa Le Reste began her career as a script supervisor(continuité) for several feature films.
Following the advice of filmmakers such as Alain Resnais and Pascal Bonitzer, she then began to focus on writing and directing. With her first short films having very successful turns on the festival circuit, she then began writing feature films like Les Vieilles Pommes and a series entitled Teuforamaxx, developed for France digital TV in 2019 by the Tita B production company in Douarnenez.
She plans to continue creating original series.
Vanessa Le Reste has worked in television, directed music videos, and collaborated in theater productions.
She also works a professor, teaching the History of Modern Cinema, Film Analysis, and Direction Coaching for Student Films.
Like her filmmaking, she also teaches both locally and internationally, whether it be for middle school (Kervihan in Fouesnant) or in the big film schools (La Femis or the 3IS in Paris), but also at the University of Art of Guayaquil (Equador).
Her passion for Stand Up Paddle-boarding and her love for the ocean have led her to develop an audio -visual production arm for paddle-boarding and surfing events.
